Lycee after Anania Shirakatsy, Yerevan, was founded in 1990 by the decision of the government of the Republic of Armenia, as an institution (under the control of the republic) that deals with talented children, reveals them and organizes their education and upbringing.

Lycee is a classical style day and night educational institution that gives an opportunity to the children with special capabilities, knowledge and creativity, who study in the secondary schools in Armenia, Diaspora as well as in the other countries, to get profound education.
